Evaluation and experience of our participants
Gavriela Loucaidou: DIGETEM is a European funded project that took place in Portugal between the 13-20 of July. The topic of the project was about digital empathy, specifically, how to incorporate a more humane approach into digital businesses. Over the course of the project we compared traditional business practices vs digital ones, each with their pros and cons. We also dived into the topic of building your brand image, website, and logos. By the end, we implemented our learnings by conceiving our own business ideas which we then had to present to the rest of the group. Not only was this project educational, but it also had a cultural side as we spent our free time sightseeing the beautiful city of Porto, its cobbled streets and architecture. Lastly, during the intercultural nights we learnt interesting facts about each of the participant countries: Portugal, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova and Lithuania. All in all, it was an experience I'm glad I took part in.
Katerina Farmakidou: An amazing trip. The experience I gained from the Erasmus+ programme in Portugal was amazing. I met new people, tasted different dishes and made new friends. I learnt a lot about the way a company is created and a variety of techniques on how to make a web page. I learnt many things about the way of living in Portugal, I learnt new words in different languages expanding my linguistic competence and my English speaking skill was enhanced. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I would definitely like it to live it again!
Savvina Nikolaou: This program was the first I joined in almost 5 years: and i can only say great things about it! Not only you learn more knowledge about Digital Enterprise but you also learn new things about yourself as you go deep in some activities. You become one with the other participants knowing their flaws and their strengths during the activities and respect them either way. It was also the first project that i had to put in mind other difficulties someone can have and upgrade them into something beautiful from an activity. You make memories you'll never forget and meet people that you wouldn't meet otherwise. It was a beautiful experience and I would definitely do it again in the future and hopefully I'll see some of the same participants in other projects:)
Myrianthi Karantona: "What empathy has to do with business?" That was a question raised from some participants during the European funded project named DIGETEM. The DIGETEM itself provides an answer to this question, as through this particular project, the participants learned how they can create their own digital business and at the same time being empathetic. More particular as participants we gained tools and techniques that we can apply in our daily interaction as business's owners towards our future clients, or even how we can create business that support the inclusion of diverse group of people into general society.
