Follow UP Activities from SENSE Moldova

SENSE is strongly convinced that sharing is caring!

This is why we decided that our participants will spread the experience they had, in their own community. In our local activities, we spoke about what is Erasmus+, how does it works and what opportunities do we have with this program. in total, we have involved 56 persons, 11 of them being with visual disabilities. Small acts can have a great impact! This is why we advise and encourage people to do small acts of kindness, so we can make the world a better place for everyone.

1st Local activity

1st Local activity was held by Cristian Comendant and Elena Turcan where involved 16 people between 18-25 years old. The activity took around 50 minutes and the participants been informed about the Erasmus+ programme, about the learnings we gain during the DIGETEM PDA in Portugal and in the 2nd part they have a practical workshop. The practical workshop was the one with the expression mask, where everyone had to draw how they feel people are seeing them inside and how think people are seeing them from outside.

2nd local activity

2nd local activity was held by Gheorghe Stoianov in the city of Cahul, in south of Moldova. On 25.08, at the Municipal Youth Center in Cahul, I carried out the follow-up activity, where I spoke to young people about the Erasmus program, the Sense organization and a workshop that was held within the project.

I held the workshop on Digital Entrepreneurship VS Traditional Entrepreneurship, where I divided the room into 2 parts with Agree and Disagree. I made some statements, and the young people had to choose their side of the room and could comment on their opinion. After this session, I gave a presentation about the steps that can be followed to start a business, from idea to implementation. I also presented examples of digital products and the advantages of digital entrepreneurship. At the end, the young people asked questions, which I answered with pleasure!

3rd local activity

3rd local activity was held by Elena Sirovina, her attendant Elena Cristian and SENSE president Elena Turcan. In this workshop we have involved 16 people, from whom been visually impaired. Our dissemination was held in the reading room at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts on the 22 nd of August 2023. Our main goal was to tell young people about Erasmus + projects and how to take part in them. We decided to organize it first of all for people with eyesight problems in order to help them get out of isolation and communicate. 16 people took part in this event and I was glad to see their smiling faces at the end of our meeting. In my opinion, it was of success. They interacted, shared their thoughts about future business, found out more about empathy and played games with pleasure. Hope we managed to make their lives happier!!!

4th local activity

4th local activity was held by Marius Bejenuta at Tekwill Technology Center. Here attended 15 youth people, interested in IT and business who wanted to develop and understand how empathy can impact the business field.

Exploring Empathy in Entrepreneurship: My DIGETEM Journey

From July 13th to 20th, 2023, I embarked on a transformative voyage through the Erasmus+ program, DIGETEM (Digital Entrepreneurship Through Empathy). It was an unforgettable week filled with a diverse array of activities that left an indelible mark on my understanding of entrepreneurship and empathy. Our week kicked off with team-building exercises that forged bonds among participants from various corners of the globe. We ventured into the great outdoors for intercultural activities that tested our ability to connect and collaborate in new and unfamiliar environments.

The heart of DIGETEM lay in its workshops, where we delved into the intricate world of digital entrepreneurship. We explored concepts like empathy mapping, brand identity, and digital business strategies. But it wasn't all business; we discovered the power of art therapy in fostering empathy, and we honed our skills in management, marketing, and enhancing market visibility. The evenings were a splendid tapestry of cultures, as the intercultural nights allowed us to share and celebrate our diverse backgrounds. These gatherings opened windows into the lives and traditions of fellow participants, enriching our global perspectives.

As the week drew to a close, we embarked on a thrilling endeavor. We formed teams and embarked on a collaborative mission to create and develop innovative business ideas. This hands-on exercise was the culmination of our learning, and it allowed us to put theory into practice. The climax was presenting our entrepreneurial brainchildren to our peers and mentors, igniting our creativity and bolstering our confidence in the world of digital entrepreneurship.

DIGETEM wasn't just a program; it was a journey of self-discovery, a cross-cultural adventure, and a crash course in empathy-driven entrepreneurship. It left me with profound insights, lasting connections, and a newfound passion for the digital business landscape.

Gheorghe Stoianov

For me, the experience in the Digitem project will be unforgettable, because I combined personal development and learning with fun and adventures. The knowledge I acquired made me more confident and self-confident in starting a business on my own. And the interaction with new people and situations developed a set of social skills. Also, I met people from I had something to learn and I copied something. I consider myself lucky, because during the project, in the host city, there was a medieval festival, where I saw many interesting things, as I am passionate about history, I immersed myself in those times.

I had the opportunity to visit the city of Porto and Lisbon. In Lisbon, I visited the Oceanarium, which deeply impressed me and left me memories for a lifetime. Once again I have convinced myself that the greatest wealth of man is what he carries within him.

DIGETEM: My Erasmus+ Experience

During the Erasmus+ project "Digital Entrepreneurship Through Empathy (DIGETEM)" held from July 13th to 20th, 2023, I participated in a dynamic and immersive week of activities. From team building exercises and outdoor intercultural activities to hands-on sessions about digital business, empathy mapping, and brand identity, the schedule was diverse and enriching. The project also included art therapy for fostering empathy, along with sessions on management, marketing, and market visibility. The intercultural nights provided a platform to connect with participants from different countries. The project not only enhanced my understanding of digital entrepreneurship but also allowed me to develop strong connections and insights into the business landscape.

Towards the end of the project the experience took an exciting turn as we were tasked with forming teams and collaboratively creating and developing a business idea. This hands-on exercise allowed us to put into practice the concepts we had learned throughout the week. The highlight was undoubtedly pitching our innovative business ideas to other participants and organizers. This practical application of knowledge added a valuable dimension to the project, enabling us to embrace the principles of digital entrepreneurship with newfound confidence and creativity.

Turcan Elena

In the project "Digital Enterprise thru Empathy" co-financed by the European Union within the Erasmus+ program, I represented the SENSE association. During this time I worked on a digital enterprise idea. I want to thank the people who were part of my team and supported my idea from the very beginning. Also in the pitching simulation, our idea came out victorious in the end. This and everyone's support makes me continue the journey and realize this idea to help many people in need.

Elena Sirovina

From July 13th to 20th, 2023, I was privileged to engage in the Erasmus+ program, DIGETEM (Digital Entrepreneurship Through Empathy). As a visually impaired individual, this was my first opportunity to participate in such a project. The experience was nothing short of transformative.

The week commenced with team-building activities that allowed me to connect with participants from various countries, transcending geographical and physical limitations. Intercultural activities broadened our global perspectives and pushed us out of our comfort zones, something particularly meaningful for me, given my visual impairment.

Workshops formed the cornerstone of the DIGETEM program, where we delved deep into topics like empathy mapping, digital business strategies, and brand identity. The introduction of art therapy as a tool for fostering empathy was revelatory. I found these sessions invaluable, not only for entrepreneurship but also for personal development. They have equipped me with essential skills and knowledge in management and marketing, despite my visual challenges.

Elena Cristian

Accompanying a visually impaired participant in the Erasmus+ DIGETEM project from July 13th to 20th, 2023, was an eye-opening experience for us. The week began with team-building activities that broke down barriers and encouraged inclusivity among participants from various backgrounds. During the workshops, we observed our visually impaired attendee flourish as they navigated topics like empathy mapping and digital entrepreneurship. The integration of art therapy provided a rich sensory experience, affirming that entrepreneurship can be accessible to all, regardless of physical limitations.

The intercultural evenings were a highlight. Our attendee engaged through auditory and tactile interactions, adding a unique depth to our understanding of diverse cultures. The week culminated in a hands-on group activity focused on business idea development. Our visually impaired participant not only contributed but also inspired the team, proving that physical challenges are not barriers to innovation. This week reaffirmed the transformative power of inclusive entrepreneurship and the value of diversity in learning environments. We are encouraged to continue fostering inclusivity in future projects.
